Patient Journey

When you contact the surgery our friendly switchboard staff will direct your call to the most appropriate person.

If you need to book an appointment you’ll speak to one of our Care Navigation Team. To help them navigate you to the best course of treatment we have asked them to ask our patients a few questions about why they are calling.

Urgent Care

If your need is urgent our Care Navigators will book you a telephone or face to face appointment in Forest View Acute based in Tynewydd.

Routine Appointment

We also run the majority of our clinics such as Diabetes & COPD from this site.

Wellness Care

If one of our Care Navigations feels it suitable they may refer you to a local pharmacist for treatment under the common ailment scheme.   You do not have to wait for the surgery to refer you as under the scheme you  are able to approach your local pharmacist yourself and this could save you time.  For more information on the common ailment scheme please click here
